Recently, there have been rumors in which we find hackers are targeting with security firms again and AVTECH is believed to be one of the target groups.

Hereby, AVTECH would like to take precautionary measures to advise all our product users (IP, NVR, DVR) to watch out for any abnormal behaviors of your machine.

This is especially important for all AVTECH clients. If you use public IP & ddns to connect AVTECH device, please following the instruction that starting from June 27th, 2018.

1. Download the latest firmware file of your product from our official website.
2. Make a change on your current user account name and password and port number, do not use Port: 80.
3. Create a new account and delete default “admin” account on your recorders.
